By being part of this great community I already know that each and everyone of you uses a cumputer to some degree. I'm just wondering if any of you do any online gaming. Myself I like First Person Shooters, partictular the BattleField series.

Halo franchise (except Reach), MW2 and Gears of War franchise on the Xbox. Left4Dead, Dead Island, Portal 2 and (very little) Team Fortress 2 on the PC. Friarjohnb on Xboxlive and Friarjohn on Steam.

My favorite series of all time is Assassin's Creed on the Xbox, but I haven't done much multiplayer. Got my ass kicked early and often and went back to games with guns.

Been REALLY tempted to get Battlefield 3. I watched some fan-made videos and the game looks stunning. Not sure which platform, probably PC.

Battlefield 3 when i don't feel like getting out of my chair, but most of my time is spent in my simulator racing on IRACING on-line PC.

Probably a different catagory of games but I logon to POGO and play Spades, Poker, Blackjack and a few word games like scrabble etc. against other members.

Reach wasnt taht great, havent played much on X-box since that except crap with the kinect. Have a PS3 but barley play it, mainly use it for blu-ray. BF2 was awesome in its time, BFBC2 was ok, and BF3 what I'm into now. (BTW , Frair, PC is the way to go on BF3) On the note of POGO that mainly what my wife is into but I have played against her on some Scrabble, poker and spades.

Oh, I forgot about Bad Company 2 on the PC but I only played the campaign. The PC is my go-to for first person. I tend to do third person on the Xbox. Halo is the notable exception, although I was a beta-tester on Halo 1 for the PC.

i love portal and skyrim, lotsa stuff on steam with the same handle i use here.

on ps3 i go by my full christian name, stevenemetthill.

I tried Pong, and then Mario Carts. Couldn't ever get past level 1, so I got disgusted with it, and NEVER played again!

I had a hard enough time with Solitare!

I play on my PS3 if I want to play games but I don't play online. If I was going to play online I would probably use an X box.

I also really like the Assassins Creed series. I love the God of War series. I play a lot of Need for Speed-Hot Pursuit online. I'm not too good at or fond of 1st person shooters, but if they would make another Star Wars Battlefront game (3rd person) for the PS3 I'd be on it like a spider monkey.

Bought my kid an X-box3 at Christmas. He is into MW3. and likes the Quantum of solace 007 game. graphix are outstanding on MW. We also have teh earlier MW with the ww2 stuff.
They have BF3 on the PC but I have not paid for them to go beyond disk 1. they can save allowance for that.

The x-box came with one month free for LIVE. He has played it a few times that I know of, seems cool but he does not have a head set and all. he likes split screen with his brother. but I figure 50 bucks for a year aint too bad if he starts to use it.

The last time I tried to play the WW2 one, was 4 years ago. I was so stressed and mad that I had just wasted 4 hours and couldnt get past a certain point! and I couldnt keep up with Halo. My fingers just ar not trained for more than 2or 3 buttons!~

I like the fact that PS3 is free to play online , just need an ISP, is cool and the way it should be just wish they would improve the chat part so you can talk to your friends while in game play. I probably still wouldn't be an online gamer but then PS3 would be on the Xbox level.

I used to love Intellivision, Astro Smash was the game if I remember and I used to rock on Zaxxon used to have all the high scores sewn up where I lived, Defender, not so much but like the game.

I found Astrosmash,Utopia, and Skiing for download to play on computers. PC and MAC. Intellivision

I have an Xbox. Play Formula 1 racing and Forza 4. I love all the car games. I dont play 'live'. My 9 year old son does. He would be on it every waking hour if i didnt put time limits on him. But all his freinds have the same games and they are always playing. Mostly the War games, and Halo.
