I have seen that the quick release windscreen for the America is for the efi bikes. Why won't this fit for my carb 2008 or what can I do to make it work? Be gentle, I didn't call a shop or ask the rep at the PIM show in dc this past weekend because I ass umed their wouldn't be an issue.
Thank-you, Austin

I spoke to a dealer about installing the quick release screen for the new 2011 model on earlier models and was informed that they don't fit. He stated that he had already tried to install one on another bike. Unless someone else has heard otherwise I'd have no reason to not believe him.

I'll check with memphis shade to what the issue.

I believe both Austin and Greg were referring to the new Triumph quick release screen although the MS screen works just fine as a quick release solution.

Sorry, I was referring to the triumph quick release I saw on the new model at the show. I didn't examine it in any detail because I thought I would just order one up without an issue? I'm at a loss.
Thank-you for the other options, but I really want to know why it won't fit before I go a different route.

I was curious about this as well. I looked up the quick release hardware part # from the triumph accessories and then pulled up the installation instructions. Looks like the lower yoke has some mounting points that are needed but were not present on older models (pre 2011 I think).
