I'm almost there!! Re jettted, new needles, new allen key screws. Now its time to put it back on the bike!! My problem is the air breather that goes from the middle of the carbs. Quote "In the center of the two carbs there is a rubber hose that is a breather, This needs to be removed and left to hang , do not pull it out from the underside, there is no need. Just remove it from the carb" I removed it! well pulled it off! and now don't know where it goes. Where from the underside does it need to go!! Thanks, Jon

I am not sure I follow but ... From the manual.
On CA models there is an Evaporative Loss System. A bunch of charcoal filters. The rest of humanity don't have em I guess. In between the carbs is the ? Carb Adapter. The hose goes on that. As far as I can interpret, that hose goes nowhere, just point it at earth. Unless you have a CA bike , then the hose goes into Arnolds butt hole ...

Connect one end to the crossover fitting between the carbs, have the other end dangle down pointing at the road (it's an overflow toob) somewhere near all the other hoses going down by the swingarm, below the battery.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

My bike, purchased in North Carolina, has the CA emmissions stuff on it, no one at the dealership seems to know why or how..... a bit frustrating. As long as it doesn't hurt anything, why not keep a few hydrocarbons out of the atmosphere.
