Anyone know where to get some header exhaust extension pipe? What I am looking to do is extend my pipes about 6-8" out, which means I need to find something to go between the headers and exhaust pipes.

Check JC Whitney. They carry an assortment of cheap pipes etc. Maybe something you could cut down, mod for your idea.

Ask Dwight. I believe he extended the pipes on his bike.

Yep Soren. Friar John is correct. ALL I did was head to a local auto exhaust shop here in Prescott, and the guy there in about 10 minutes made me a couple of extensions about 14 inches long, and he only charged me about 10 bucks.

I then polished 'em up usin' Mothers Chrome Polish and they're ALMOST as shiny as chrome, and so I've never felt the need to have 'em chromed, though you may wish to do that.

I think you can see what I mean by this picture here...

And so, I'd say just check with a car muffler shop there in Beaverton to see if they'd maybe do the same for you. I sure don't see why they wouldn't.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Thanks Dwight! I'll check around. Someone told me there is an exhaust shop around here that the owner rides, I'll probably check there first.

Maybe so, but, that wasn't what I was looking for. Especially since I don't have a shop at home or the tools to cut the flanges.
