We just fancied a ride out to our local meet, a round trip of around 40 miles or so at night. It was a little cold but seem to warm up on our way home around 9pm. (or had we just got used to it...

Took a ride out to a mates on Saturday, about 60 miles and really enjoyed the ride. Weather was dry and mild, about 10C and traffic was reasonably light, although I kept clear of the motorways.

I've had a good life - if reincarnated I'd change nothing!!

Took my little T120 out Saturday to an old watering hole I used to frequent, somewhat apprehensively, as it's primarily an old Harley hang out. Got inside, and basically just wanted a cold Corona, but was immediately bombarded with questions about the old Triumph. I hear one guy yell, "What year is that?" Instead of yelling back, I just held up 2 fingers, figuring he was tuned in enough to figure out I meant "1972", which, he did....He then came over with a couple of others to go outside and inspect her. "Man, that's nice", and "My Dad had one JUST like that" were the standard remarks. Turns out, one of the guys says he has several "in his garage" just waiting to be revived.....I was like..."Just call me, we'll get one of 'em goin, and you can ride the 3 state mountain ride with me in May"....Says he will, and seemed like he knew all the guru's in the area by name, so we'll see. Maybe I'll have a riding partner for the TSMR! So yeah, was a good ride for sure.....
