I think the difference is that the newer ones are adjustable for smaller hand size, they should bolt up the same

And, the newer adjustable levers are not just great for people with smaller hands, but after I swapped out my original front brake lever for the later model adjustable one a few years back, it has made using the "two-finger pull" for the brake a constant thing, because before I switched it out I sometimes would have to use four-fingers on the lever when I wore thicker gloves.

Ya see, our bikes' lever throw can be quite long compared to, say, a Sportbike's lever throw, and so now with this adjustable lever I can set it forward and a little farther from the hand grip, which makes the distance between the lever and hand grip greater once I actuate the brake, hence no more worries anymore about the lever ever jamming my ring and pinky fingers between the lever and the hand grip.

I have a set of adjustable levers on my shelf Dwight, would you say it's worth the time to swap them?

Yep, I would, Dave. I like the feeling that I can adjust that brake lever to exactly where it's the most comfortable and convenient to use.

Btw, I don't have the adjustable clutch lever, but then again like most folks, I use all four fingers to pull that one in, so I've never felt the need to swap that one out.

I was looking for new levers for my 06 Speedmaster. I wanted something different, chromed, and didn't want to break the bank. I found out that levers for cable controled Hondas fit our bikes. I then bought a pair of Kuryakyn wide style chrome levers (model KY-7421). They cost $35.99 for the pair. They are not adjustable but I didn't see that as a big feature for me.

I got them out and looked at them Dwight, and while I think they are nice and all, I think they look a bit bulkier than mine and instead put them for sale in the classifieds

BikeBandit appears to have the OEM ones for my 09, the clutch for 51$. Not sure if they offer your model year, but worth a look. I would ASSume that if the parts around the 09 levers look the the same as the parts around yours, they will probably fit, but hopefully they have listings for your model yr.

I have a set of controls for a 2004 Speedmaster & I also have a 2006 Speedmaster, the adjustable levers from the 06 wont fit the 04, it will for the brake but not the clutch, as I replaced my levers with a set from Joker Machine I tried the old ones on the 04 switch blocks but no go
