It's supposed to be 63 degrees on Sunday. If time permits, I'll start the new year with a ride. Anyone else planning the same?

Didn't buy into the hype, you can keep the change.

They've forecasted RAIN and 40s this week. Ridiculous for late December in Montana.

Here we go....another smart a-- . Yep we appreciate any pics you southern folk can take of your rides during these pristine snowmobile riding days. -25C today and there is so much snow on the road that you can't see the pavement. My chum went to the warehouse where his bike is stored to .....ahem...."touch it" because he's in withdrawal. I'm not far behind.

At least it isn't Frank W giving us the one two this winter. It's our US kin giving it instead of our "down under"....ahem..... friends. What's this world coming too?

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. Supposed to be mid-50's here in the Ozarks and no rain.

At nearby Deal's Gap they sell tee shirts that say something like "Deal's Gap, 11 miles 317 curves." A buddy of mine that lives in Jacksonville showed up here wearing a tee shirt that said "Florida, 317 miles 11 curves."

Yep just like every day to me now.

Got our first dusting of snow for the season here in the mountains. Might be a KLR day instead of a Triumph day.

I don't know about New Years day but the next 4 days are going to be clear and about 64. So I'll be riding to work the rest of the week and New Years Eve.

The first year I got my BA we had a freak 70 degree New Years day. It seemed everyone who had a bike was out.

This year looks like mid 50s but that's good enough for me. I'll be out.

But then again Chet, wouldn't ya think there'd be twisties galore up and around those Ponce De Leon and Don Shula Mountain Ranges down there in Florida???

(...of course, the SAME guy who told me that there WERE Ponce De Leon and Don Shula Mountain Ranges down there ALSO once tried to sell me sight unseen what he called "some good bottom land" half-way between Miami and Tampa...and so I'm not too sure you can thrust ANYTHING that THAT guy ever said!!!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

It's suppose to be mild for the rest of the week. Would love to ride to work, however, it's dark when I leave. Every other morning, I see the remains of deer that were hit the night before.

We're riding and then watching football.
Supposed to be nice here, low 40's no rain or snow.

Very warm for us this time of year.
