99.9% of the time, this question is answered by answering the following question....."is everyone using them?" because the fact is that if it did work theres zero doubt everyone would be using it. But thats the one thing that some people don't think of, and thats how people selling things like that make money. Learned that lesson many years ago. There are exceptions once in a blue moon, but it's rare.

A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice. Pat

Hiya Ray
This sorta thing has been around for some time.

I'm one of life's doubters I'm afraid.

I always think if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

For 30 quid or so it's prbably worth a punt - then again, you could buy an decent amount of rolling tabacco for 30 quid!!

Let us know if you get one.

No. They don't work, but if you send me a check for $100 USD I'll gaurentee (money back, no less) a way to save you 75% of what you spend on gas now.

Last year sometime, Popular Mechanics magazine did a test on a dozen "Increase Gas Mileage While Improving Performance" devices. They couldn't get a single one to work the way the manufacturer said that they would. They even had one device literally explode. The testing was fair, they took several vehicles, dyno'd them installed the devices the re-dyno'd the vehichles.

If it was worth anything, you think the petrol companies wouldn't have bought out the patent and slipped it under the rug so they didn't lose business? Not likely. TR

Cover an EXACT number of kilometers (100, 200, 300, 400…Km.) as you like, and try to keep a VERY REGULAR drive!

Keeping a "very regular drive" alone will make at least as much difference as they claim.

any complaint about the doubtful working, if you can not prove it concretely with the exhausting test !

"If you don't have a very elaborate test lab to prove it doesn't work, we will punch your TS card and tell you goodby".

For a lot less than 34 quid you can get a vacuum guage. Unless you are a very conservative driver to begin with, using these 3 tricks;
Get into as high a gear as practical as quickly as you can.
Hold a steady throttle.
keep the manifold at as low a pressure (high vacuum) as practical.

You will likely save more fuel than they claim.

They say it has a bloody strong magnet in it. Unless you are burning iron or a particular mixture of aluminium, nickle and copper, your fuel just doesn't care.
At least in the US, the gvt has set a CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) standard. Car makers who don't meet this are fined a lot of money. If this worked, they would most certainly be using it because Yanks are a horsepower mad lot.
