Those are just like mine, but they are under the name Matuzu here in the US. They are a bit big, but I am getting used to them. They are great for carrying stuff since they have a lot of room compared to most bags. Garf has them too you can check out his bike.

Thanks. They look to be outside of the shocks which is not what I would want. I think that the indicators would have to be re-located to get them closer in.

That picture of the bags mounted are utilizing Easy Brackets which move them out a few inches. If you mount them direct they would actually be closer to the fenders. Modifying the lights shouldn't be a problem. Even if you have to remove the stalks, you could wire up the lights on the bags to serve the same purpose.

Yes I used easy brackets to mount them so they could be removed easily. Without the width of the Easy Brackets they would not clear the shocks. So you would have to remove the lights and wire them as turn signals but would not be able to remove them without losing the turn signals. Matuzu makes a smaller hardbag called the LN. http://www.mutazu.com/products.php?cat_i...&s=prod.phpI looked at those originally but I wanted a bag big enough to put my half helmet in when I was at work.

Does anyone know if these are fiberglass or plastic? The do have a great price but I don't know how I'd like the side opening door and the lights seem awfully big.
Its more fun to be ridin'! I'm still ridin

They are ABS plastic. Not as well made as fiberglass would be but a better price. I don't plan on a lot of heavy use and so far for daily driving they work fine. I liked the side door, but have to be careful stuff doesnt fall out when you open it. What I liked the most is it had a retro kind of look and the curve and shape of them matches my bike. It was a toss up between these and the Tsukayu Strong Hardbags, but they were a bit more than I wanted to spend.

Hi BugBear as Capt Lou says, cost was the main reason I got these bags, fitted them with easy brackets which does make em stick out a little more than a normal bracket, hadnt intended them to on most of the time, as it is they're on more often than not now (the Missus likes to fill em up!)I've got use to the size now, in fact I dont notice em unless I'm filtering through trafik, when I just take it easy. Although they're ABS, they do take a knock, had a lane changing clown in a cage on his mobile rub his front tyre against one and nearly put me into the central reservation. I thought that the impact would have split them for sure but it just left tyre rubber on the on the plastic chrome strip and on the door, this has been cleaned off and left a bit of a graze which will dissapear once I get em painted to match the bike. (you listening Santa?) Depends what job you want them to do really.

Forgot to mention, you'll need to move the pillion footpegs forward if your going two up and although you can get away without adjusting the blinkers its easy enough to shorten the stalks. I left the blinkers in position as I do ride without the bags or trunk if I go solo. The tail and brake lights work really well.
I'd rather ride it than clean it!!!!

Thanks for that Garf. I've pretty much decided on the smaller M1 models as they have the extra lights and I can fit them in between the shocks and the indicators. I tend to travel pretty light these days. Unfortunately, they only have Silver in stock at the moment. Gary.
