Pretty cool. I was comparing my bike to a BMW K1600 GT.

Apparently my legs are too short to reach the pegs on my America, but not the Rocket III.

My legs looked pretty straight on a Speedy at 6'2" and the 32" inseam. Not at all how I really fit on a speedy but a pretty cool website idea. The image of me on a R3T was pretty close to accurate though in terms of how/where my legs ride.

This is a great site; especially if you are looking to do some different things with your bar and trying to buy through the internet.

It would really help me if it showed how you look standing on the seat.

Seems like it says I cannot reach the controls on my bike...

The last time this was posted I don't remember our bikes even being there. So does this mean our bikes are now ergonomically valid?

Nice bank account there; those things cost more than a full on HD dresser. I had a traffic light chat with a rider on one at Biketoberfest and you tell he really liked it, although he did say it was a toss up between the BMW and his Kawasaki Concours as to which was the better bike. How about that?
Cool tool, it told me that 6° difference in knee bend was the big difference in the Bonnie and the Scrambler...I knew I felt it but couldn't define it.

Well guys, it looks as if this thread might be the right one to mention that I'm putting the finishing touches on turning my Triumph Cruiser into more of a Standard. Yep, I've fabricated a mounting system for my rear brake pedal to be relocated back to where those pegs and brackets I built years ago that bolt into those frame holes where the center stand was made to go.
I also have gotten rid of the shift linkage on the left side, and now have the standard Bonnie's shift lever bolted directly onto the gearbox shaft.
Yep! No more sittin' on my tailbone while shifting or applying the rear brakes for this ol' boy anymore. I'm going to really enjoy riding the twisties even more now that I'll be sittin' this ol' butt o' mine in more of a standard riding mode and more able to use my legs, though I will be keeping the forward peg mount and bolting pegs up there for a secondary place to rest my feet while I'm out there on an open stretch of road.
(...pics to come, if anybody is interested in this)

Will do, John.
I also have added another 1/2 inch of foam to my seat and had it reupholstered by a local car Top Shop here. He did a great job on the seat. It's really comfortable, and where the controls are now, the whole arrangement fits me like a glove.

Groovy. Can't wait to see it. Did you use your stock control brackets and adapt them? Or source new controls from a different bike altogether?

Yep, I used my brake pedal, the master cylinder and the chromed bracket that holds it and which also holds the foot peg, though I had to cut off the bottom part of that bracket for my application. It's really a pretty tidy little setup. I think you'll see that when I post the pics.

I'm in. During the 650 mile trip back to North Alabama from Daytona this October I fought my feet wanting to slide back off my floorboards to a mid peg location. I'll bet I rode 250 miles with my boot heels hanging off the back of the floorboards. Might just be what I'm missing in the ergo dept. Sounds like raising the seat a skosh might be a wise consideration, too. Now, let's see the pictures :-)

Dwight, I really want to see the pictures too! Were you able to remove the foot control mounting bar completely?

I asked Dwight when he has pictures to start up a new thread in customs since this is likely to generate a lot of activity and dilute this thread.

Hey Bill this is a great site for those that are ergonically challenged. I broke my wrist years ago in a ski accident and cannot lean forward on the bars otherwise it hurts big time in the right wrist.

Ditto. Granted the 2011 Speedy is 2" shorter but I still had to fudge my inseam by 4" in order to get the thing to work for me. My Shadow VLX, OTOH showed me the measurements without altering the inseam.

It's obviously flawed because I can rest my ankles on top of the stock pegs. My inseam is 29.5".
