 Unknown (and un-used) Electrical Connection?

Hi all.. New to the forum...and just this week am the new (to me) owner of a 2009 America. Thanks already for all the tips and things I've learned here! Today I installed a pigtail connector for my battery tender, and found, to my surprise, an un-used connector going "somewhere", just to the lower left of the battery, and no hint of what it might connect to. It didn't register any voltage, although I didn't test it yet with the ignition key in place... Does anyone have any idea what this leads to? Yeah, there are a few extra connectors in the harness depending on the type of fuel/emissions system is on your particular bike. Since yours is 09 it is amongst the carb to fuel injection changeover years so yours has a couple more than most.
The connector in question appears to be of the fuel/emissions variety so don't sweat it, if it runs fine it must not need it.

I asked the same question when I got my '09. It's the Californian doodacky connection. Not used on your bike - unless you live in California - in which case you are a bit naughty running a bike without the doodacky (tsk tsk).
