I have an 08 America and find the suspension very hard even on its soft setting. This is causing problems when my wife is riding pillion as she has a bad back and you can feel every bump in the road.I have tried Hagon shocks but to no avail.Does anyone have any knowledge on how to soften the ride comfort on this bike please.

I know what you mean. When I roll over a bump, especially one that I didn't see, I get a jolt and a sharp pain in my lower back. I changed my shocks to progressive and got a Corbin saddle. Which helped some. I even got a kidney belt. All to no avail. So now I limit my rides to short ones and use my Goldwing for longer ones.
if life gives you lemons keep them because hey, free lemons.

Are your shocks bottoming out?...I run a set of Works shocks...cost alot of $$$ but they are a good performance shock that is built to the weight of the rider and pass.

Like Kenny said, there is no proper fix, other than buying a Goldwing.

I wonder how heavy they are. I have no problem compressing the shocks all by my little self, even my Progressive fork springs and Progressive 412HD shocks.
