OK, maybe I maybe a slow learner but just how many acronyms do our bikes have? It took me ages to work out what GFG & TOR stood for. Are there any other acronyms we newbies should know about?

Speedy= Speedmaster
BA = Bonneville America

‘Across the pond’ for the 2008 model year, and

How about, AI= Air Injection Some owners belong to MMA= Modified Motorcycle Association RUB= Rich Urban Biker usually H.D. owner BTU= British Thermal Unit PMS= Parked Motorcycle Syndrome (normally winter) IMS= International Motorcycle Show (Long Beach CA.) CRS= Can't Remember Sh*t (getting older sucks) TTFN= Ta Ta For Now

Strangely, whenever I see the acronym for the South West Triumph Fest, I still initially read it as what I thought it meant when I first joined, Sweet What The ? That led to some strange posts until I realized what it really meant  I say strangely, but it's pretty normal for me

Here's some more ...
EFI = electronic fuel injected
R/R = rectifier/regulator
ECM = electronic control module
ECU = electronic control unit
Note: ECM and ECU are used interchangably and both mean the engine computer.
OZBASM = Australian Bonneville America and Speedmaster Meet

Actually, I would think "So What The ..." and still do whenever that thread pops up.
