Thank you, all the men and women that have served and are serving our country, to include my husband.

Thanks. My plans today are to get a free carwash, free meal at Applebees's and working on a free haircut at Sportcuts. Then I'm going for a ride and then come back home at watch war movies the rest of the day.

Don't forget to get your free wings at Hooters, Paul! I might head that way for lunch myself.

I have to chime in and say "Thank you" as well to all who have served and are serving now. I respect and honor every guy and gal that made that decision for the good of the people.

While I've never been a big KISS fan, I heard about this the other day, and Gene has really gone up in my opinion

My dad was a WWII vet. He relived it every night while slept. For what people have to do to fight a war, and then live with what they've had to do, they deserve all that we who enjoy the fruits of their sacrifice can give them. I'm glad Keith reminded us that soldiers for freedom come from different nationalities. God bless the men and women of all nations who sacrifice all that others may know freedom.
Its more fun to be ridin'! I'm still ridin

Hey, we thank our own as well. Today, ran the Texas Honor Ride, an annual event that supports the Wounded Warrior Program here in San Antonio. Not sure of the numbers, but looked close to 500 bikes at Ft Sam Houston. The organization is a church out of Conroe, TX that raises money all year long to bring to Ft Sam. Last year they brought $210K. Have to wait and see how well they did this year. Great event.

You're welcome. That being said, I did what I thought was best for me at the time. No thanks are needed.

I got a little Veterans Day reminder from some of the locals, with a bang...well more of a boom. Dove in a ditch completely unnecessarily - darn rocket hit like a mile away. Was it ironic or merely redundant that I watched "Hamburger Hill" and "Patton" while actually IN a combat zone? LOL Wish I could have just gone for a nice ride...
Anyway, for my small part, thanks for the Vets day sentiments, and I'll add my own hearfelt thank you's to those who went before me.
(and yes I know it's late, they're shutting down most of the internets over here on the way out the door)
So belatedly, here's to the memory of: SSG Bertolino, KIA Iraq CW3 Kennedy, KIA Iraq CPT Resh, KIA Iraq
SFC, US Army (Ret)

God bless and protect ya Rex. If you ever find yourself down here around New Braunfels or Seguin, look me up. I ride with the local VFW MG. WYA on the extract.
