OK, I have ordered the cable, downloaded the Tune ECU program but am having a hella time finding the right hex map for my bike...any semi-pros out there?
Bike info: 2011 America Clasic, EFI, Stainless ride standard slash cuts, VIN 456927
Airbox and AI still intact for the time being.

All I can find in the advanced section is for VINS starting at 46- - - -
Any suggestions?

Ride like you mean it.

amglo, I have used TuneECU but not a pro by any stretch of the imagination.
What map # are you running now?
Do you have a mechanical or LCD odometer?
I would think that #20330 would be best for the mechanical odometer and #20503 would be best for the LCD odometer.

I am hoping for some more choices for the custom America/Speedmaster maps. I was using the 20184dyno... custom map. Have since gone with cams and 904 BB mods. Opted to not add Power Commander, shop was not opposed to TuneECU but had no experience with it. Local shop did dyno, make suggestions to map. I edited and using TuneECU and loaded modified maps. Runs OK but I'm sure it is not actually optimized.

09 America, some modifications

keep the airbox std and try the 20184dyno map, remove the airbox snorkel and use an after market airfilter (add more air flow) I had the dyno tune done here in OZ I am now running it with some ignition timing changes Too reduce popping on the over run, did a cut and paste of the ignition map from a Bonneville ! works well only some minor changes in the low throttle position around about where the pollution/noise dip is in the mapping !

08 release of the 09 america Mods done include :- true HID xenon headlight and spot lights (no night time dark rides with these suckers LIT ! ) Foran slash cut pipes (short loud) No SAI (removed) sai ports blocked off with subaru sump bolts,No oxygen sensors (swicthed off tuneecu) 10mm raised longer rear shocks (IKONS) heavy duty front springs with compression damping emulators, bike sits 30mm higher and handles well( I tow a 200kg+ camper trailer) Just installed an air horn made by STEBEL 134 decibels !! 56,000 klms on the clocks now (35,000 miles) just under 60Hp at the back wheel.
