Used to have a 26ft water ballasted sailboat that I kept on a trailer (the whole point of water ballast). At Christmas I would deck out the boat with lights. While no sails were actually up I had lights off the mast simulating wind whipped sails. I had blue lights that gave the impression of the boat moving in the waves. Santa was at the tiller.
