Seen the ad for Letterman tonight......Bruce Willis wearing a Triumph t-shirt. Is it just a fad or is he actually a fan?

Personally, I think Sheryl Crow in a Triumph tee does more for our marque than Bruce...

Watched it. He was wearing a shirt similar to this, although half hidden by a jacket:

I found him unremarkable, condescending, and effete; like his co-workers...

Still like his movies.
My advice is to stick to them and keep public appearances to soundbites and photo ops.

Be careful of your comments. Ol' Bruce may just be a "lurker" member of BA.com .

Hummm Phil...Well THAT just comes with the territory livin' out here in LA LA Land, I guess.

HOWEVER, contrary to my fellow Angeleno, the affable Mr.Willis...I NEVER cover MY Triumph T-shirts with jackets while I'm inside a building.(poor form, ol' boy)

BUT, in Bruce's defense I hear though that Letterman keeps that studio of his at a cool 50 degrees in order to keep his comedy FRESH!(and his audience wake, I think sometimes TOO)

Cheers,
Dwight
(BTW...Bruce and I are NOT co-workers anymore since he caught me with Demi...but THAT was WAY before she took up with that punk kid)

He looked like he could handle that chopper in Pulp Fiction, you know the one that "Zed is Dead" rode.

Actually, I DID watch the show last night.

And Phil...once again buddy, we're on opposing sides of a observation.

To me Mr.Willis seldom comes across like he's "full of himself", AND most always seems the first to laugh AT himself. Traits I find commendable, and from what I can tell, pretty rare for "Hollywood Types".(AND, maybe in general)

Dwight
(oh, I KNOW....you didn't care much for his...ahem..."Whittington makeup job", right?....I mean makin' fun of our VP like THAT and all)

Naw, could care less about that. Anyone in politics is fair game as far as I am concerned. Some of the stuff is actually funny. It's just when they beat it to death that it gets stale. For instance:

We had this lady at work here who just thought it was hilarious to call me Janet and my wife Phil. Cracked her up. After about six months of this (and about twice a day) I had to tell her please give it up and get a new line.

Wouldn't surprise me if I found out that she is a liberal!

Unfortunately, I think it is just a fad, retro stuff is very in right now. When I was at the airport last week (Midway in Chicago) there was a guy wearing one of those old style Triumph shirts. I attempted to talk to him, he had no idea Triumph never went out of business and wondered who was bulding them now, last he heard harley bought them out in the late 70's. I gave up.

Soren....That clueless guy at Midway Airport...did he say if he had just arrived into Chicago for a visit...OR if he was just about to catch a flight back to his home in FLORIDA???

(sorry)

Well Stewart....If the guy who you were taking to was only WET, and not COLD and WET...then it COULD HAVE BEEN our Portland, Oregon based friend Soren, and NOT a some other frozen denizen of the Windy City!

WOW! WHAT'S the freakin' CHANCES o' THAT happening, PEOPLE?!

Cheers,
Dwight

The chance of it really happening was/is slim to none. But it would of been funny. So what you got in mind for a secret handshake......got to being able to tell the real thing and all the trendy posers out there.
(can't post it here though, the MODS might see it, and they already have one)

Stewart,

Heck! You're askin' me?!! You think I was smart enough to get into YALE OR that "Skull and Bones" group there?!!!

Now I understand THOSE GUYS REALLY have that secret handshake stuff down COLD!!!

But...as you probably know....They ONLY allow "real smart fellers"(like Dubya and Kerry) in THAT society, so I guess we just better forget about askin' THEM for any suggestions regarding this matter, 'cuz they're NOT allowed to TALK about it!

I mean...I'd just HATE to think that WE'D be the cause of those "highly intelligent Movers and Shakers" breaking their "sacred oaths", RIGHT?!!!

Cheers,
Dwight
