I just picked up a chrome cam cover and was ready to start installing but noticed that it doesn't have the rubber seals around the bolt holes and chrome bolts didn't come with it. Is this right?

Doesn't sound right to me.
You should at least get the seal. I can believe them not giving new bolts though
Unfortunately, mine was fitted by the dealer at the time of one of the services.

The factory seals can easily be reused many times.

Wojo,
Mine didn't come with seals for the holes. I had to re-use the bolts and seals from the original cover. It worked ok, my dealer wanted $5 each for those seals.

Kinda tic'd me off too. but all you need is the "washers" which were about 3 bucks and a week to get. You can use the main seal from your old cover just fine but...use a little bit of silicone to hold it on during installation.

Yeah I did that, ordered an extra seal for the cover just in case but didn't need to use it at the time I didn't know about the bolt seals or I would have ordered them as well. I was just surprised about the bolts. Typical.

It's on now and been fired up. Tomorrow it gets loaded onto my buddy's trailer for the ride down to Daytona on Thursday.

I installed the Chrome cam cover tonight and I'd have to admit it took toooo much time! Took me forever to get that rubber gasket lined up just right. Must be some trick i couldn't figure out.

The trick is to put some silicone sealer/RTV in the groove in the cover, stick the rubber gasket into it, and walk away for 20 minutes while it sets up a bit....

Did you zip-tie your wire bundle as close to the center frame (and tight) as possible? That extra clearance is valuable.

No. I just pushed the wire around as best I could.
