Are all kits the same, or is one better than another?

I like the Freak the best but only personally used that one. A lot of money for not much for the Freak though. It keeps the stock look. Tom (brokenfixed) sells a battery relocation bracket or you can make easily enough. He will probably tell you how if you ask. I have heard of quality issues on the other elimination kits.

I have a freak that I took in trade for some work. It was very heavy and required a bit of tweeking to bolt up it works quite well and looks nice. To the casual observer the bike looks pretty stock.

I did address the weight issue by drilling a lot of holes in it. It was also helpful to add an extra locating hole to both sides of the faux air cleaner/side cover brackets by drilling and tapping a 3mm screw. It made taking them off and on much easier (as playing with carbs required it)

05 speedmaster - 1100cc, 11:1 racing pistons, Carillo rods, thunderbike cams, ported and polished head, 2mm over intake and exhaust valves, Barnett kevlar clutch, scepter pipes, oversize manifolds, 45mm HSR's, TTP stage 4 firestarter
