Just been getting insurance qoutes as mine is up for renewal this month. The lowest was £63 and the highest £212! How do they do that? However, I was really annoyed when one company, S & B, could not qote me "Due to my age"!! I'm only 58  Talk about ageist, and I have a 10 year no claims record. Am I really too old to ride? I'd be interested to find out who is the oldest guy (or Gal) on this site.

I know a guy here is his 80s that still rides. To see him you would think he is in his 60s though. I about fell over when he told me his age.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains.

Neither has mine until now. Don't they know older drivers have less accidents? On the other hand, maybe they meant I was too young!!

Of course if you were standing at the insurance clerk's counter but talking to the poster on the wall beside you, the clerk may have just been trying to let you down gently.
