Well it’s been a while since we’ve done the run, but the cheesesteak gods are calling and I’ve had the shakes from the withdrawals since I haven’t had one in a while. What am I talking about? That’s right; it’s a Philly Cheesesteak and Beer Run. We are headed north to the Liberty Tavern again. If the weather holds we will do the run on Saturday, October 22nd. We will hook up at Clinton Cycles that morning and do the long run out Rt 50, over the Bay Bridge and up through Delaware and into PA. It’s a great ride with good food and drink. Right now we are shooting for meeting at 9:00 and rolling by 9:30. Hope you can make it.

Tom, Being that I’ve lived in both Jersey & PA, I’ve had a lot of so-called cheesesteaks. Nothing I’ve had over the years match the cheesesteaks from the Liberty. That’s why we usually make several runs annually, and usually bring a mess of em back with us. However this year I’ve slipped a little on the trek’s north. You've never had a cheesesteak until you've had one from the Liberty....

Just a reminder for those thinking about joining us. The Liberty does not take credit or debit cards so bring cash...

***********Change in the meeting time********* We have pushed the meet up time at Clinton to 8:00 instead of 9:00. We will be rolling by 8:30 sharp. Please gas up before you get to Clinton. Also the long range forcast for both this area and in Philly is sunny with temps in the low 60's....

Sorry you can't make it this time. There will always be a cheese steak run in the future....

If you want to ride with us and Clinton Cycles is too far out of the way for you to hook up with us, we are meeting a couple of the guy’s by the Bay Bridge. If you want to meet up with us there, after you pass through the toll booth there is a large pull off area on the right before you cross the bridge. We usually stop there while we wait for the guys to get through the toll booth. If you want to meet us there we should be there around 9:15ish…

Well it was another good Cheese Steak Run. There were 7 of us who answered the call of the cheese steaks gods. Glen from the DCRATS (another Triumph group from the DC area) joined our ride. No rain but was a little chilly at times, and as usual really good food and drink. Hopefully those that missed it can catch us on the next run….

sorry I flaked out. I was cutting a new tail light bracket and the new light (that JUST came in the mail) fell off the work bench and cracked the lense.
All progress halted after that...haha
