 Shift Linkage Installation and Adjustment?

Warren (AngusPT) graciously sent me a shift linkage (Thank you Warren, you are a class act!). My only issue is I can't seem to get it back on right, the shifter is sitting way too high. Is there a right way to do this?

If you mean the threaded rod just start both ends at the same time and thread in evenly until the pedal is where you want it. If not enough adjustment you can remove the lever from the shaft coming out of the primary and move it a couple teeth and then adjust the rod again to fine tune.
If the control mount is bent back or the shaft coming out of the primary ir bent forward the pedal will seem too high.

That did the trick! I was starting one side then backing it out into the other side, which was obviously wrong.
