Do the lightbars come with their own on off switch or do they run off the main headlight harness, and if they do, how is the additional drain on the battery when you are starting the bike, is it worth getting one of those headligh cut off switches that kills the headlight on start up of the bike? Also anyone got one for sale?

A lot of people run a micro toggle switch in the dash.

Yep, right there on the left can. If I think of it, I'll turn them off before starting. But there has been no problem with them yet. I also replaced the original bulbs with the Xenon blue bulbs from NewSpeedmaster.com or FastEddy, I forget which one. No, I'm not selling mine !!

mine came with a micro switch, but I wired into the high-beam instead - so, they come on when I switch the high-beam on. (of course, this limits you to having them on when the high-beam is on....)
...you're gonna feel a little pressure....

i like the idea of using one of those blank switch plugs on the console, i run the blue lamp right now in the main so i would likely do the same with the others, now to find one for a decent price...anyone LOL

i used the rivco light bar kit. Chose not to move the turn signals and i also didn't want to cut a whole in my headlamp, also didn't like the triumph ones with the switch on the side lamp..... to far away. I wired mine to my dash unfortunately i couldn't find a smaller switch to fit the whole so i bored it out to 1/2 inch and used the toggle switch supplied. Must say it came out pretty nice and perfectly convenient
