Oyster Run 2011

Not sure if I will be able to go yet, but who else in the PNW is thinking of going? If I go, it will be my first time back on Whidby Island since my accident back in April 2008.

Maybe we could rendezvous somewhere before taking the ferry over??

Yeah, but that thread was for Canadians and big, burly "ogrish", jaffa cake eating Scotsmen, who ride with a black yak hide on their seat !!!

Cheers Gordy!!

I am planning on going. I haven't made any plans, but I might ride up and stay in Port Angeles again and take the Ferry from Port Townsend to Whidby and then to Anacortes. I wouldn't mind meeting some folks. I've missed Z, Karen and Bob twice. They are early risers though, me not so much.

Forecast is not looking good down here Gordie. I may sit out this year and use the time to keep working on my Canadian (St John, NB) contract that starts Oct. 3. If the skies stay dry, maybe I'll work my way up there.

If you or anyone else goes, I hope you have a great time and that the weathermen are wrong !!! Ride safely !!

I'm familiar with that country, but never during the Run. I had oyster stew last week, does that count for anything?

Did Gordie make it down, did he behave himself?

I found you on page 13 when I looked the other day. I saw the safety yellow goldwing and knew your pics had to be near.
