I've fitted a Cyclone V2 alarm to my speedy and the basic functions are working well but there's an immobiliser and remote start function I'd like to use but can be buggered if I can work it out. Part of the problem is I have an 09 efi speedy and the Haynes manual I have only has wiring diagrams for non-efi models so the fuse info is wrong. The fuse ratings are different etc. Now if I read it right then fuse #4 is the ignition fuse? The sparse instructions that came with the alarm tell me to connect these two wires (pink & brown) to the live side and the grey one to the dead side. If I do this then the alarm goes off straight away when you arm it, so obviously something wrong there. Also there is two blue/white wires going into the "live" side of fuse #4 and ****** all into the other...
I just remembered that it tells you to connect a black wire to the negative of the battery and red to the positive which is totally logical but there's another black ground wire which it doesn't mention at all. Would it make a difference if I had the one connected to the neg of the battery AND the other one grounded on the frame?
Me is confusticated...

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
Now I'm off to bang my head off a wall....
