Hi.

I am looking to buy a 2009 America with 3500 miles on the clock. The bike runs well and is in good condition with the exception of the black paint on the engine caseings. In front of the barrel's the paint seems to be blistering. I think this is due to corrosion under the paint as the chrome tube which is in the same area has gone rusty. I know the guy selling the bike has used it during the winter. Has anyone else come across this and would it be an easy problem to put right. I really dont want to go down the road of taking the engine out etc just to get the bike back to its original condition. Any ideas would be welcome.

The "paint" on the engine is powdercoat, and you may find something that will match in, but it will eventually come off again hence why I am doing this
