I had foot surgery on my left foot just over
3 weeks ago, and because of that I couldn't ride.

Last week I ran across a Triumph heel toe shifter
that was listed on EBay, so I bid on it and won it!
Yahoo...good price to!

I thought it might help, since I could shift
with just downward pressure. Well today
I got around to installing it, and that
went pretty smoothly.

Then took the bike out for a decent test ride and
happy to say it went better than expected.

As I had figured, only downward pressure was necessary,
so even with a post-op shoe on, it was easy!
The unexpected thing was that I personally found
shifting more intuitive and pleasant with the
HT shifter.

I really think I'm sold on this set up, and I will
like it even when I'm back in a regular shoe!

Note: I only have a regular foot peg with the HT shifter.
