This summer I bought quite a few accessories for my bike. When I was shopping around for prices and suppliers , any time Fast Eddy carried the part I wanted, even if it was a couple of dollars more, I always went with him. I do this for a couple of reasons, number one , when you call Eddy the man answers his phone. Him not a machine, even if you have to leave a message he always calls you back, sometimes even when he's not at work. You got a problem, he bends over backward to make it right. And second we should all support our small business owners, they are the lifeblood of this country. Thanks Eddy, you are the man!

Good experience with the man too and was nice to talk to him on the phone when I did order. Also when there was a problem getting a part he called me right away and leveled with as to what the delay was. I still got the parts fast even with the delay. Even if it had taken a while he took the time to call me and let me know of the delay and leveled with me as to why. I'll wait patiently as long as I am informed as to why.Didn't need to in this case though as I said the stuff still got to me fast.

He gets stuff over here pretty damn quick too.
Hey, imagine what it would be like if he ran the postal service too!?
We'd get stuff BEFORE we ordered it!

Double "YES" to all the above! "FE" treats his "customers" like friends and not $$$. He's not providing good "customer service", he's helping out a friend, even if it's the first time he's talked to him/her.
Eddy - THANKS BUDDY!!

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.

Eddy rode a good ways last July to hand deliver a set of lowers to me on a ride I took across Wisconsin. Helped me install and tutored me as where to set them to get the buffeting that was ruining my ride under control. He incidently made a friend for life with me. Did you know that he holds down a full time job, besides his mail order biz? Quite a guy, IMO

Couldn't agree more with ALL the sentiments expressed in this thread!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Ed is a good guy and I've never had a problem with any orders.......... but the big kicker is when friends and aquaintinces ask me where I get my stuff and I reply....Oh , I get my stuff from.....Fast Eddy ! adds a bit of intrige

I like the upfront prices and not having to figure in shipping. I can call Eddy to ask a question about something and then we spend 45 minutes on the phone b.s.ing about other random stuff. I've met Eddy at rallies, and he's a cool dude. I can chat with Eddy on facebook when I need to. He puts a lot of time in to make sure we the customers are satisfied and the parts fit. I like Eddy on a personal and professional level.

I have only ordered a few things from Eddy so far. But I am sure I will order more. As others have said, if he has what I'm looking for, I'll buy it from him. My last order had some issues with the supplier having delays - Eddy was up front with me and offered me options to split the order up, etc. You won't get this kind of service from anyone else. The other reason is, he's not just some business. He gets that you just got new pipes, and need to rejet, so, that order has to go out asap. Try getting that from jc whitney.....

Thanks, Eddy.

Count me in as another satisfied FES customer and friend. I was lucky enough to win a $100 gift certificate raffled off at the 2011 SWTF. That's one sharp cookie. He and I both knew it wasn't a gift certificate at all, as it turned out to be a 20% discount card.

My thanks to Mr. Eddy, and "Mr. Eddy's Father"* (and mother) for bringing the lad into our lives!

*Okay trivia buffs - On what TV program was "Mr. Eddie's Father" said, at least twice an episode? After this, a character turned green, maybe with envy, maybe not.

Okay Mike. If you're talkin' about a "Bill Bixby connection" here, who of course starred in both "My Favorite Martian"(btw, that being an American sitcom, it would NOT have been titled "My FavoUrite Martian" for OBVIOUS reasons!!!) and "The Incredible Hulk"(ya GOTTA have that "u" in the word "Hulk" there of course!), I'm gonna say the answer is...ummmmmmmm....HELL, I don't know! And that's 'cause your question is worded kinda WEIRD if ya ask ME!!!!!

+1 ; but i think it the answer is 'don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when i am angry.'

OMG!!!! You're RIGHT, Joe...err...I mean JOHN!!!!

Just a guess here, but maybe 'cause ya know what they say about folks when they get a bit older..."They can remember somethin' that happened to 'em when they were 10 years old like it was yesterday, but don't ask 'em what they had for breakfast!!!!

(...sorry Bob!)

Good prices.
Excellent service.
Kicked the post office's arse when they lost my shipment.
Called me to say "happy birthday old man"!

Even without the last one, he's tops in my book too.

You're right, it was Bill Bixby, but between "My Favorite Martian," and "The Incredible Hulk," there was (drum roll please............................) "The Courtship of Eddie's Father" (rim shot!) Remember the housekeeper kept saying to Bill Bixby, "Excuse me; Mister Eddie's Father?"

Oh! Of course Fred...err Mike...errrrr BOB!

NOW I remember! The little Japanese maid always said that. AND, of course your reference would fit nicely with the whole "Fast Eddy" thing here!

(...hey, at MY age, you're lucky I even got the "Bill Bixby" connection", ol' buddy...seems I'm fadin' fast nowadays!!!!)

You know, you guys kill me! Just made my day. Sometimes I wonder about how I do things...then I realize, I can't do it any other way. I really appreciate the sentiments, makes the bumps in the road seem insignificant.

Nothing more a treat for me is going to the rallies and meeting folks face to face and sharing tales. I keep looking for the day when I am not beholding to another employer to show up to get a pay check and my "job" is going to see folks! But everyone longs for that.

You all deserve kudos too, it really isn't too hard being nice to good folks. In fact, Dwight is the only one who has ever made me cry! All I said to him was, "When I nod my head, you hit it"...nyuk, nyuk nyuk.

Cheers all ya'all!

eddy

PS and Bob (not Mike) it was only 20% because you spent more money, if you bought $100 worth it would have been 100%
