Yes Dr. Warman - you are a fellow genius. Are you a good genius, or an evil one? Myself, the latter...

Because I had previously watched this program, I instead caught the Mecum Auction in Monterey CA runnin' on HDTV last night at the same time, and they were auctioning off classic motorcycles. There sure were some beauties fallin' under the hammer.
Did anybody else around here happen to catch it?
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I watched the auction and caught speedmakers this morning. Did you see the Henderson that went up to $185,000 and the owner wouldn't drop his reserve. it was sharp but I think I would have sold it at that price. I actuallly thought some of those bikes went for a reasonable price.

Yep, I agree Rick. Other than a few of the really rare and very desirable(for collectors) bikes, I thought most of the bikes went for a reasonable amount...especially compared to past auction I've either attended or have followed the results of online.

Watched it on hulu, pretty cool. Makes me glad to have choosen Triumph.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.
