welcome tangleoot and I am lookin forward to seeing pics. Adey is a moderator here who could explain better than me how to post your pics. He's from the old country as well(pommie), he is a big lug who can't spell but he makes things sound simple as he is the same.

That's interesting. Look like the sprocket is on the wrong side, that might be challenging?

You might want to check the names at the Other Bikes forum.

This could be a very cool project, and a first. Is there anyway to get that motor more upright in the frame?

the engine came from ebay along with carbs n elec's. all i need to find now is a bonny front end and rear wheel so if anyone has any for sale let me now. im on my hols for the next couple of weeks, but when i get back ill be getting the angle grinder and big hammer out n make the engine fit better.but not sure if to use new bonnie front or t140 disc forks, wheels etc?.also got a new cental oil tank which i hope to convert into batery box n wiring then a make me a new swingarm etc but will keep you all updated. glad you like my project. cheers mick

FYI a T0Bird rear wheel should work too... in case you can't finde a bonnie.

Mick, Good luck with your project! VERY COOL IDEA, there! Looking at the picture, I was wondering if the rear of the transmission case is hitting the back of the frame or is it hitting against the fender...okay...mud-guard, so that is appears not to be able to rest where it should and making it look a bit "Norton-esque"(inclined motor). If it's the fender...OKAY ALREADY!....MUD-GUARD , then do you think lengthening the swingarm might be the answer? Cheers, Dwight (BTW....I REALLY like Tritons!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

benny thank for the offer the wheel but just with shipping and dreaded (tax) i try to find one in the uk first but i might come back to you. DWIGHT as to the fender it just resting on the back wheel but there but plenty of room once i cut off the mounting lugs and got the engine upright as just held in place with cable ties

Well I don't personally HAVE a spare wheel, I just mean when looking for a new one, don't limit your search to a Bonnie wheel.

Sounds good. Take your time, and take LOTS of pics!! Just FYI, America rims are 15", Thunderbirds are 16", and TBS are 17" (all rear).
