any of you folks in the Dal/Ft Worth area ever get over to Fairless' place (Strokers)whenever i see it on T.V. it always seems like a place i would visit(or hang out at) if i lived in the area. today i was watching biker build off and Rick was building a Triumph chop for the contest. i know he has always liked the Triumph's but has to be in the V-twin biz to make the $$ because they are always needing something, unlike Triumph hahahahahaha is he a cool guy or is he the nut we see on t.v.???
ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

You know I am not that far in houston but haven't been there. I should take a weekend and just go there are other things there to do to fill out a weekend.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

I rode over there for lunch one day. It was a cool place to hang out. Lots of over pricer hd stuff for sale. The event board was full of stuff when I went.

He is pretty full of himself. It would be a fun place for you to stop if you were ever around though. They have some cool long bikes around all the time.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

Hey Newt, you mean this guy???? We went to the Easyrider show in Sacramento five years ago. He seemed pretty nice to me. I liked the show, and asked him if it was going to be renewed for another season, he said no at that time, but was trying to someone else to pick up the show. AmyLee

Never been there, but if your going to go to Dallas you will want to DEFINATLY stop at BIG D's. Nothing but vintage Triumphs, NOrtons, Ariels, Matchles AJS. He cant touch our bikes though. He sold his new Triumph dealership to another store and has a non compliance agreement with them. (One of his mechs did finally come out to help me fix my bike while there during a rally stop, the mechanic mind in him took over from the noncompliance agreement not to mention the other place couldnt fix me on the spot either, 10 amp fuse will get ya every time!) http://www.bigdcycle.com/
