Took a ride out to Asendorf on Sunday, took me just over an hour flat out,in real brass monkey weather.
The place itself looks great,a bit "local" but ideal camp site great place for BBQ,beer and a flock of Triumphs.
Sorry but batterys on my camera failed so no pics ,but weather permiting ill ride out there again soon.

When you guys come over from England id like to meet up on the way and ride up there together.

Nick

As long as the "locals" don't look like this, we should be okay!

Hi Nick

Happy birthday mate I will give you a couple of mobile numbers closer to the date & we can arrange a meet point. I think somewhere near Bremen might be good but maybe you can suggest a easier one.

Martyn If you have to ask why I ride, you wouldn't understand the answer!

Hi Martyn,

Would also like the RV point and contact numbers, to join the ride in. Will be going over on the Thursday and staying somewhere en route.

What time do you aim to get to Asendorf on Friday and what's the SP for the weekend?

Cheers

Mark

Wierd thing.
I went to a job on Wednesday to measure up for some plans.
Talking to the lady, she is German.

Asked her where she was from and she was from Asendorf!!
WTF?

Small world, eh?

She gave me a couple of pointers for places to visit but can't read her writing

She was a biker herself and says bikes should be riddena t 180 (kmh I hope!!).

Also gave me some pointers about the red light district in Amsterdam too!!
