My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker... Well, she's not actually my girlfriend yet.

Looks like a blast. Wonder what they sell for? Did they say it has a Harley 2 litre v-twin engine? Could be a reliability issue if it is. Sounds great though.

Why would it be a reliability issue

Triumph: Blown ignitors, warped brake discs, charging systems that don't do the job.

How do I know that.

If you could afford one of these mean machines a new engine every five years or so shouldn't be a bother .
Pure indulgence for those people with healthy bank accounts .
Imagine the fun you could have trying to wear that engine out .

I think they are about £30,000 - £40,000. I can recomend the Morgan Factory tour in Malvern if anybody is visiting the area.

He said "s&s motor the ferrari of the harley world". I have heard lots of complaints about s&s motors. You know a lot of those production choppers used them.

It's an S&S engine. Never had one of those. But, while the one HD I had long enough to see how well they last was not one of their best, the topend on my old Ironhead was good for 70 - 90K miles between rebuilds and the bottomend was just starting to get loose at around 300K.

Since it's British, I wonder why he didn't go with a 2.3 L Rocket motor? That would be interesting...

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.

Probably because the original Morgan Three-Wheelers of the 1930s had a British-built J.A. Prestwich V-Twin engine powering them, and so they probably wanted to keep as close to that configuration as they could, Woody. And because the Brits don't make a "modern" V-Twin, they probably decided to go the the S&S engine instead.

What Dwight said.
The twin looks great up front.
Love that car.

BTW, Jay Leno driving on the correct side of the road, whoda thunk?

I didn't see him driving on the "right"(in all connotations of this word) side of the road there, Adey!

(...WHAT?!...were you watchin' that video reflecting off some mirror or somethin' over there???)

I'm glad everyone likes it, but I'm not getting it. A big mc v-twin in front of a car like body. fuuuuugly!! If you want a small sports car there are plenty if you want a mc there are plenty but don't mix em. Yes I don't like Can-Ams either.

I absolutely agree, Paul. On none of these three-wheelers mentioned here can one lean into a turn, which I think is what makes motorcycles so much fun. The only three-wheeler I know of that CAN lean into turns is the Piaggio MP3, and that's more or less just a little scooter.

The Morgan and the Can-Am both pretty much react to the road like a car does, and so while they're both kinda cool I suppose, my thoughts about most trikes and three-wheelers is pretty much like your own....ya might as well get yourself a small little roadster sports car, as the only thing that wouldn't be "in the breeze" would be your knees. And THAT wouldn't even be the case in this Morgan's instance.

Yep, maybe get somethin' like, say, a Honda S2000 instead!

(...or, I'VE GOT IT!!!!...a Beck 550 Spyder!....NOW we're talkin'!!!)

The Morgan is all about tradition and history, as Dwight said the Morgan three wheelers where originaly powered by a V twin jap engine. The origins of the three wheeler go back to Taxes, It was cheaper to tax a 3 wheeler than a four, and you could drive a three wheeler on a MC licence, also the family transport for meny was the MC and large sidecar. A Morgan would out handle this for sure.
There have been various kit cars and updated Morgans using various engine. I like the Lomax that uses a 2CV engine, but I have seen BMW and Moto-Guzzi. It has to be air cooled. some people are like that.

THAT was the FUNNIEST friggin' THING I've seen in YEARS!!!!!!!

Thanks for that, Steve!

(...though NOW I'm a little mad that my cable service here in Prescott AZ doesn't get BBC-America, like my satellite service did in L.A....'cause THIS reminded me of how much I miss watchin' that big blowhard with his typically British droll humo(u)r, Jeremy Clarkson, on my TV set!!!!)
