Just wondering if anybody has picked up this piece yet...I just lowered my bike, but being able to take off a couple more inches would feel even better...is it worth the price or could we just get the stock seat trimmed for the same effect?

Well, I met Brent this afternoon so I could pick up my new low profile seat. I gotta tell ya'll it is something else. It is definitely a quality item. It fits the bike perfectly, and gives the bike a really slimmed down look. I only rode about 25 miles this evening (weather was pretty nice today in Texas), but it was enough to evaluate the seat. It is certainly no touring saddle, but it was very comfortable. It allows you sit down in the bike more, and while it has alot less padding than the stock seat its shape kind of cradles your butt. I really like it. Let's hope this is just the first of many items Brent is going to provide us from BCC.

I've put a quite few more miles on it since I originally posted this, and I still love the seat. Just this past weekend I was able to put in 75 miles on Saturday, and it was great. I wouldn't want to spend all day on it, but one look at it and you know it wasn't intended to be used for touring. The quality on this thing (even the parts you don't see when its on the bike) is incredible. The underside has a heavy felt-like lining with a leather Bruiser Custom Choppers logo attached. Two thumbs up.

Learning from my mistakes... again and again.
