Big bore #3:
Last night we got Ron Zs bike running, on the third spin as usual. It fired right up and high fives were available for all.
It runs great and loves the extra cubes. Just gotta do the clutch springs, waiting on my tools from Sneaky Pete. A quick hour job at most. Just need to put the rest of the covers and stuff back on and she's ready for pick up.

Matt's bike with the Amals:
Made up a much shorter throttle cable with new ferels and end caps. Went pretty smoothly and it works perfectly now. We may cut it apart again and shorten it a few more inches as I don't like the way the two cables on the carbs are tucked in under the tank. Could be a little cleaner, but mechanically it is 100% now.
The bike runs like one bad mofo I tell ya. It's nice to have another big bore right next to it (Rons) to compare it too. There is a HUGE difference in the sound and response of the motor with these Amals. I will defenitely get some as soon as the Tax refund dood visits me. Don't get me wrong, Ron's bike is a screaming machine now too, just that the Amal'd bike makes me shudder when we start it up.

We had help last night too, jaymo54 and Ed (biker) also stopped in for the festivities and the first start of the new big bore, they were both sporting large feces eating grins when she fired up too. When we started Matt's Amal'd bike they both dropped jaws and in unison went, "whoa...cool"

So the end result is the Amals are a dual big thumbs up and you best get in line to order them as i know there is a delay (not Tom) in getting them across the pond to us. Break out them credit cards fellas and go to town!

Wait till you see these bikes in Georgia, aholes and elbows is what y'all be seein.

Man, that's exciting stuff! Does Matt plan on getting his bike on a Dyno after break-in?

So as thorough as you tend to be...and such a GREAT team player, can we expect a pictorial, step-by-step procedure and instructional website to be posted following your trials and tribulations?? Don't you like how we all allow you to blaze the wild trail so the rest of us can simply follow the paved road later?? Maybe by the time I free up the cash for the Big Bore kit, Amals and shop fee you can have all the problems worked out and solved for us.
Thank you.
