hi I have a question for any of you electrician types out there.
I have swapped my original indicators (turn flashers) for a set of small custom ones.
my problem is they dont work with the standard flasher relay.
I understand there is a difference in the wattage of the bulbs, original 25w, custom 5w.
I have tried swapping the relay with a bunch of other ones, some flash fast, some not at all.
what I want to ask is can I fit a resistor or something in the wire leading to the flasher bulb to fool the relay into thinking that I am using the correct wattage bulb.
this may sound a bit long winded but this situation has been driving me nuts for quite a while and I am tired of randomly trying different relays with no long term fix.
thanks steve.
