Definitely a power ranger. Cool pic man, nice bike.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Hmm.....jeans and boots, always. Gloves - almost always. Helmet - always; half helmet and goggles for clear daylight riding. Full face helmet for inclement weather and nighttime riding. (goggles bother me at night for some reason.). Mesh jacket to euro protection standards - always.
Not sure what that makes me besides a pragmatist.
Your a switch hitter some times a power ranger some times a pirate remember its just a good bit of fun to poke at rider fashion.

I'm a Power Pirate!
I ride a Black Pearl with a 3/4 helmet, but short sleeves when its hot. I wear cloth work gloves (in my pocket). Riding glasses are a bit modern shape to contrast the vintage style helmet, which happens to be D.O.T. but on the other hand, its the the smallest DOT they make. No boots, just skate shoes and some dickies. White t-shirts dominate my entire life. I go "tucked in"
Now in cooler weather I wear a semi padded textile jacket because I dont like leather, but its plain black and lacks any and all racing style logos such as "joe rocket", and has elbow & shoulder pads, but nothing on the spine.
In fact the only "logo" that I sport while riding is a red and white name patch that says "EVEL". In honor of another motorcycle legend.
This configuration, I've found, keeps me segragated from normal riding cultures and circles because I'm too "metric" for the pirates and too "vintage" for the power rangers.
So I ride by myself and rarely find anyone going in my direction when riding. Sometimes instead of waving, I throw my arm out and over like "follow me!".
BUT
I dont "go my own way" because a slogan told me to. And find it too predictable when "rooting for the home team" while on this site. Harley? Honda? as long as youre riding.
My slogan's "find an alternate route"
This "power ranger/pirate poll" isnt just about clothing its about the psychology of a person. Mines apparently a touch of Enochlophobia and a dash of schizophrenia.
haha haha

So, in other words Tom, your attire and your attitude is pretty much like mine....you're in the Steve McQueen camp. And thus making US the "coolest of the cool"! (...Ya know Chad, your question possed in this thread is basically just a variation on that old question: Do you consider yourself to be a "Biker" or a "Motorcyclist", and what those two very similar but subtly different definitions have come to mean nowadays)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Mcqueens choice of tobaki solidifies the theory of cool. I am in agreement with this position.

I always thought the question was mod or rocker? As for the 'Steve McQueen' look, in those days, we all dressed like that. Except for the geeks on the motorscooters of course. They all wore fancy Italian suits. All those mirrors were so they could admire themselves.

I could have framed it differently. Like McQueen, Sons of anarchy, or Kill Bill. But I was hoping for some humor or to get Dwight going humour .

I also knew every one would say McQueen. Where's the fun in that.

I gotta admit to "McQueen-ing" today, 3/4 helmet, gloves, pants and boots...no armored jacket...it just seems so wrong to go ATGATT on a 64 Trophy...
