So John, have you have had time to regroup after your retirement? I hope all is going well. Thanks for serving our great nation, from one retiree to another. If you have/had the same feelings I did/do, it is still hard to see troops heading off to do God's work and not be able to do your part.

I miss being at sea, and my only saving grace is, I get to do some boat ops with my job in Cuba. So, my sea time may not be what is was, but I still get to go aboard ships from time to time, and have coffee in the Chief's Mess. So all isn't lost. I hope you found your footing and hit the ground running. Keep charg'n brother and again congrats.
