What does it weigh? I've no manual as I bought the bike used so I'd like to know what the bike weights dry. It seems lite to me but I usually ride a heritage st so what do I know.

Yeah Mitch, and lemme guess here...You found your Triumph was "just a little" more fun throwin' around in those turns than you ever did on that big ol' lumberin' Harley Heritage of yours, huh?!

I always figure about 550 lbs. with the extra chrome, bags, and shield I have on the bike.

If I remember correctly my bike (03)Speedmaster was 554 lbs.wet. It had all lubricants, a full tank of fuel and very few accessories on the bike. This number is real close to actual weight. The Speedmaster is a little heavier than the America but not to much.

Extra chrome? Then mine's weighing up at around a metric ton, give or take!
