I just installed some floor board type foot rests on my bike. I am not shure if I like them or not. Who has them and do you like em? Who got them then changed back?

I've got the Triumph Boards on Woody and like them fine. On longer rides gives me some room for moving around and helping the knee's from getting "locked-up". Are yours Triumph or ???

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.

Once I got the Triumph boards on I never thought about going back to pegs. Still, it helps to have shorter legs because the boards do raise your foot position. I like being able to shift around on a longer ride so my knees don't feel like they're locking up. I've scraped them a few times but that's not an issue since I'm not really a "boy racer" anymore, although my brain likes to think I am :-)

British custom, that's my deal they do seem to raise my feet up some. I guess they take some getting use to. I guess you do have a little area to move around abit.

I have the triumph boards and love them. Heel toe shifter took some getting used to, but I love it now too. Just wish the shifter was made for someone with larger than size 8 feet.

I put Triumph boards on my 2010 Speedmaster it give's me more of a chance to move my legs around to find the most comfortable riding postion.

I do admit I like the visual looks of pegs over the boards but after riding my bike for a fair while now with the boards fitted there is no going back to pegs.

For me its makes the bike feel so much better allround .I would not go back. Give them a a chance then after a while. Go back to pegs and you will know straight what is best for you. I reckon you will put them straight back on. I have Triumph boards on mine. atb geoff

I have them on my 2009 America and would never go back. The heel toe shifter is the bomb with them.

I have the floor boards and like them much better then the one position of the pegs. Not tried the heal/toe shifter thinking my size 11.5 boot might not work too well with it.

Still grooving on mine after a couple o' years except for the way they (Triumph boards) tipped slightly downward. I had to address that issue to get them to lay flat and once I did it improved my leg position (knees tucked in more).

Same here. Triumph woouldn't acknowledge the problem. The dealer fixed mine.

I'm curious to know what they did to rectify the problem. To be honest, I'd like the tilt to be adjustable.

Wendy has boards on her bike and they don't tilt outward.

It shouldn't be hard to fabricate a tilting foot board. I am still not sure how much I like these. They lean back some adjustability would be nice. Lowering them would be the ticket.

Taking the floor boards off till they can be reworked. I may just sell them and fabricate something better.

The sent the boards to a welder to have weld built up on the conact point at the board side, to level them.
