What do you mean 'oversized'!!!!!
Funkle, do you reckon he would make a good mascot tied to the handle bars?!!
Or would that be cruelty to our hard working European Neighbours???

The location and the pub itself was great but, come to think of it, the beer and grub weren't great. Maybe we'll go somewhere else eh! Any suggestions?

I used to go here a lot years ago, and my parents used to take the grandkids there more recently

I'll look into some nearer Alrewas later

Looks like a good option Bryn - let us know when and where so we can hook up.

Talking to Grzegorz the other day and neither of us have received a headlight sticker for the RTTW yet.
Our year bars have arrived but no sign of the iddy biddy stickers.

Anyone get theirs or not?

I don't recall there being two lots of post sent out last year.
I imagine the logistics is a nightmare this year. Drayton Manor is fully booked.
Different starts might have different coloured stickers(?)

I emailed 'em to see what the craic is.

From what I can gather, only those registered for Drayton will get stickers due to numbers being limited there. No-one else will need them. They are being sent seperately. When, I don't know

Mine here too. Can't help thinking a headlight sticker in with the original pin would have saved a shed load of money - 60p postage for the many thousands going ...

Are we meeting up somewhere before going in, so we can ride together?
If so any suggestions?

Don't forget boys and girls, the 'wrist' band goes on the bars.
I looked at it thinking does this mean people will be wearing their's for weeks after?
Then I actually read the letter that came with it

(I still think iddy biddy stickers would've been cheaper)

The place I mentioned above might not be that cool about a bunch of hairy arsed bikers turning up unannounced scaring the kiddies etc. I don't know because I haven't asked them.

However, there is this place that will welcome us, he'll even stay open abit longer and give us a 10% discount because we'll be on bikes.

While I haven't eaten there, I've not heard anything bad about the food, and the beer is nice

A bit of a warning about the Drayton bike tags

Quote:

RidetotheWall DRAYTON MANOR BIKE TAGS

There is an issue with some of the fastenings on the Drayton Manor ID Tags that we have sent out. Some are not snapping closed as they should.

As we are now close to the event you may not get a replacement in time if we send them out, so could we please ask you to improvise with super glue, tape, or cable ties to make sure the tag is attached to your bike in a secure manner.
...
Thank you for supporting RTTW
