Could anyone please tell me the thread size of the oil drain plug on the America, speedmaster, and Bonneville? I was on this site

http://www.magneticdrainplugs.com

They offer metric magnetic plugs and I was wondering what thread size our bikes takes. Thanks

Jerry

jerry,

I don't know the size, but if it turns out to be M18 x 1.5, don't buy one, I have 2 of them....

On that website, the 1002M is your huckleberry, 14mm. Mine was a easy fit, done in conjunction with the 18,000 mile oil change.

Mike, Now that you mention it that 14mmx1.5 metric rings a bell. Thanks.

No problems, just FYI, when I ordered them, took like 4 weeks to get them, I guess it came from Canada, and maybe the customs held it up, but it sure took.
