May have screwed up today. Bought fully synthetic oil instead of the semi synthetic. Is that gonna be a problem, or did I just pay more than I needed to for an oil change.

I recommend full synthetic not semi, synthetic runs cooler and lubricates better.

After break in Triumph recommends fully synthetic (motorcycle oil for wet clutch). It works better and lasts longer than regular oil. I change my oil once a year and ride about 4500 miles a year. Recommended change is once a year or 6,000 miles.

Impressive. That's what I'm going to when my stash of M1-15/50 red cap is depleted.

Well, I used Torco 4TSR, which advertises itself as suitable for wet clutches, so all is good.
What got me all bothered was the Haynes manual which said semi-synthetic.
Thanks for the advice!

Last oil change I did, I purchased Suzuki full syn racing oil. Same weight as recommended for our bikes and met all the same standards, but at a much lower cost.
