When replacing pipes, the book says to use "4 cc of clear silicone sealer". Aside from the obvious conversion from metric to an American 'lil dab'll do ya, does this stuff have to be temperature rated? What's everyone using for this?

I used the red high temp stuff but will probably use Ultra Black next time.

Copperami here too, when I remember anyway. I have used clear silicon aquarium sealant as a stop gap on the join between header and muffler and it seemed ok.
