Nice to see the Triumph on top (like we already knew) but I think the styling is lacking in all of them. There are some nice touches but the overall profile look doesn't gel in any of them for me - not like our BA and SM.

The more times I see the Storm the more I like it. I think the demo truck is coming close to me soon. May have to give it a ride.

I agree, I like the looks of the BA & SM better than the Storm but I can overlook some styling for the raw power. I actually bought my BA instead of a Victory Vegas.
Ride like you mean it.

Good read! I like hearing good things about Triumph! I have ridden the Storm and I did like the ride and the gobs of torque but it just doesn't seem to have the soul that our bikes have. If I did alot of long highway trips, I think that would be the way to go or possibly the Rocket. For the riding that I do, I think my America suits me well! I have the 904 kit on mine and the throttle is crisp and the exhaust cracks! I like it the way it is but still could use a little extra power! I do want another bike someday but I need to figure out which one to get, but it will definitely be a TRIUMPH!!! Keep up the GOOD WORK TRIUMPH
I'm with you. I moved up to my TBA from a big V Twin with lots of torque but no where near the fun quotient. If I wanted a bike of that type it would be some iteration of the T-Bird but the styling just isn't quite right and it's just not the direction I'm headed.

I took a demo ride on a Storm last weekend and wasn't impressed. Then yesterday I took my bike in for service and was given a Storm as my loaner for the day, so I had a chance to really play with it. I loved it. It's like a cafe racer in a cruiser's body. Completely impractical for me since I do a lot of touring and two up riding, but my takeaway at the end of the day is that I'd love to have one in the stable.

I find the 8-ball superior by a lot in the looks dept. If an all blacked bike is what you are looking for.
Granted the power cruiser from Triumph is the better rider. I just can't do the bug eye cheapness of it.

Got go to a demo truck stop this weekend at Precision Triumph in Pawtucket, RI. Took a ride on the Storm. Loved it. I like the looks too. Not sure I'll ever own one though because I'm not getting rid of my America and the Storm would basically be another backroad burner like I use my America for. I did really like the looks of the R3 touring and roadster.

Maybe it's just me but I don't get the R3 at all. Different strokes for different folks.

I wish I could get an RIIIT.

The R3 is nice and all but, for what I do, it would be like swatting flies with a 40 MM cannon or going shopping in a Peterbuilt. It is just an over overkill.
