An 8 hour shift, one 20 minute assignment....bored out of my mind.....I get to tow ONE airplane from D concourse to the Atlanta maintenance hangar, which now has a new name by the way..."The Luv Shack"!!! Since SWA has bought us....All we have to say on the radio now is "Airtran Tug 32 with a 73 to the Luv Shack"...gets laughs everytime, and they know exactly where we want to go....

Been there, read that.....Im thinking of bringin in my 1/6th scale Waco Biplane and working on it....Nothin like gettin paid to work on your OWN airplane!!!

Wow 1/6 scale - you could send small children aloft in that. There was a good song about the "Love Shack" by the B52s here.

My cousin used to have a Waco UPF7 that he used for crop dusting. Before that, he had a Curtis JN4. One day he couldn't find anyone to help start the Jenny, so he did it himself. Unfortunately, he cracked the throttle a little too much and it jumped over the wheel chocks. He chased it down the runway, across the highway and into the river. Only thing he was able to salvage was the compass.
