Hi all, I just joined your forum. I'm thinking about getting a Corbin seat for my 2004 Speedmaster. Has anyone in the UK ordered one direct from Corbin? Are there any hidden charges ie, customs etc? any other comments/info please.

The Corbins have been getting a lot of attention, which has gotten me interested in them as well. But that attention could be due to a lack of other compatible seats for the BA or SM.

Are they indeed worth checking out, or should I persue some other manufacturer?

You can come sit on mine if you want... For ME, the stock seat just wasn't the right shape.

I've got a Corbin on my BA, and I've had them on a few of my Beemers back in the 80s. Great saddles and worth the $$. I finally got their pillion pad for my wife after her endless complaints about the stock pad. Well, this made her even madder! How could you waste all that $$ on non-essential stuff; and not bought this Corbin pad for me two years ago?! How can she call Epcos, carb jets, LOTS of new chrome goodies, Hagon shocks "non-eseential?!" Well, she absolutely LOVES her Corbin pad.

Most people love their Corbin like most Harley riders love their Harley - that's all they know. I've owned 3 Corbins and they are good, but no where near the best.

Why, Rick Mayer of course. Am I to be the only one here to "Go My Own Way"?

One thing thats right there is not a lot of easy choices,
The one thing Corbin can do is get you a high quality custom seat built to your taste.Studs no studs color designs in the seat. And the answer questions quickly.
The seat took all of 5 min. to install and anyone here that knows me knows that if I can do it anyone can.
My seat looks great, rides great, and was built for me
Height weight inseam.

Looks good, Stern12. Looks like you've got the long slash cut silencers on there. Is the chrome ok? I went for the short Speedmaster style silencers and 16 months later the chrome is peeling off, and guess what, Triumph say they only guarantee them for 12 months and wont change them. Even though the dealer agrees there must be a fault with them.

Book those are the orginal factory pipes and there now long gone. It now has the short slash cut epcos and the look of the bike is a tad different. This winter there has been some changes chrome wise to the bike

I'm not sure what Triumph is doing wrong...due to some severe shipping damadge...I got to see all three layers in there triple plate chrome and they're all there, yet they continue to have issues...the part went back and yet more time will pass before I get to put the shiny sprocket cover on.......again!
