There are an S-ton of shot glasses on Amazon.com, including licensed ones. If the Yoda shotglass was clear it would be a done deal.

I could never get that to work, or fit in the bike.

Got to think regular size OR SMALLER.

I can find a filter to work with it, but I don't think you'll get it to work on our mid-sized bikes.

On second thought, if it holds 2oz., it would probably only fit a larger filter, seeing how thick the glass looks at the bottom.

Sediment bulbs is what they use to be called, and they are very effective filters, especially if any water is present in the fuel. Something gasohol is famous for. Had one on my '46 Plymouth business coupe. As Stock.

Your carbs already have water/sediment bowls built in, they're call carb bowls.

But, erle has clarified that these also have a filter, thanks erle.

Well, the glass bulb trap afore the fuel pump on that 216 flathead seemed to catch all the ka-ka fairly well, if you add a filter, so much the better.

Issue is, you can't see into the factory fuel bowls. Can't empty/clean them as easy either.

Ok, here's the ones ready now:

Normal sized ones;

Kid Rock, American Bad ass

Truckers favorite

Texas Hold'em

Canadian Maple Leaf (I think)

More "Maple Leafs"

"All Gave Some, Some Gave All"

Coke like "I Enjoy Vagina"

Custom "Swirl"

The following are SMALL ones, better suited to smaller bikes with less room;

"Triumph" (see page 3 of this thread for close-up of emblem)

"Triumph" on British Flag (chipped paint, I will "touch-up")

"Harley Davidson"

And last, but certainly not least, the "Jim Beam Two Hundred Year Anniversary"

All have been wire brushed, have new gaskets, and have been leak tested.
The "Shot Glass" ones are printed, the "small" ones are metal badges, and the "Jim Beam" one is embossed glass with painted letters.
They WILL come with the brass fuel line fittings shown, but you MAY need to experiment with others (90/45 degree angles) for your fitment needs.
All will be the afore mentioned $85 for now, for members here, but will be on ebay for considerably much more in a few weeks.
ALL COME WITH A LIFETIME GUARANTEE (IF you can find me later)
Hell, their already over a half century old!!!

And remember, if you send me ANY shot glass YOU have, I'll make SOMETHING work.

Peace,
Erle

I would love the to have the Jim Beam one (that embossed vintage style) if it was Jack Daniels or Crown Royal or Pendleton or...

...but I never could find one I liked in that style. I do have a Pendelton shot glass, even got it on a poker run last year, but it looks awfully modern.

(secretly I love the Coke spoof, but red won't go good on a green bike)

Sorry Keith, but our Aussi brothers wake up earlier than we do!

I've got you on a "waiting list" (first on the list), and I will pm you as soon as I get a filter for the Jim Beam glass. They are the rarest filters to come by, so it may take a while. (the Jim Beam glass is avalible 24/7, not so the filter)

If you'd like something different, let me know.

Ryk got the orange oval "Triumph" one, but I do have more of those.

Peace.

The Jim Beam, and the smaller ones with the metal badges/emblems will be regulars, along with adding others as I find them.
The larger ones (regular shot glasses) will be regulars also, but different ones will be offered as "one-offs" as I acquire them.
There are SOOO... MANY shot glasses out there, that's why I would prefer people send me ones THEY have & like, and let me "fit" it to a filter. Same price though, as most shot glasses are only $5-10, and whether I supply it, or you supply it, doesn't make much difference in the process. But by YOU supplying the glass, you get YOUR favorite.

Hey Keith.

I'll be at Biketoberfest this weekend. I hope to find quite a few different metal emblems for other manuf., BSA, Royal Enfield, H/D, etc. (including different "Triumph" ones)
I hope to post new options for the small ones, however, I've sold all but two (of the small ones) from this bunch, and it takes weeks/months to aquire replacements. Please be patient. (remember, WE DON'T HAVE WINTER HERE, SO TIME IS VERY LIMITED!)

Ryk,

The twisted brass shift bar is PERFECT!!!

It's hard to explain, but I think that because I've used a lot of brass for accent on my bike, the brass rod looks all that more genuine!

For such a little addition, it REALLY sets off the look. I had no idea it would be that much of an improvement.

Pleased doesn't say it all.

I would STRONGLY recommend that everyone consider the addition for their bikes. It is probably close to one of the greatest upgrades I've added, AND I'VE ADDED A LOT OF THINGS!

Your filter is boxed, addressed, and will be dropped off at the P.O. tomorrow.

Again, THANKS for such a small item that makes such a BIG difference.

Ya'll need to have a look at Ryks' rod! (you'll be as impressed as I am!)

Peace,
Erle.
