Greetings all this is Chy's erstwhile son. I have been laying low for a while from the forums seeing as I do not have a motorcycle at the moment much less a spiffy Triumph. I am however working hard to acquire one but that has been . . . interesting to say the least. I am glad to be amongst such august company as yourselves.

Heh I adore the look of a Legend but due to my extra large size( and the relative rarity of the bike) I think the America or the Speedmaster would be suited for me. I have been on a Rocket III but that is a bit excessive. Dad has been a working on a America with a title issue and GA is very non helpful when it comes to such things. But still. I would trust anything he had built over something some schlub sold me. Sadly some issues make getting a loan atm not really feasible, so I am doing what I can. My Mustang convertible is amusing enough to drive even if I can feel physical pain at the gas pump heh.

Have you tried sending to NH for a transferable registration? There used to be a company based there that did a title search for you and if all was clear sent you a transferable registration. It cost $150.

Nemo meaning and name origin

Nemo \n(e)-mo\ as a boy's name is of Latin origin, and the meaning of Nemo is "nobody". Literary name: the captain in Jules Verne's adventure novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea".

Welcome and we expect pictures of whatever bike you decide to get. It's a tough economy out there for most so just keep at it and soon you'll have a bike of your own.

Did you have TV in the 90's, Keith? B5 was a landmark series that raised the bar for layered storytelling and long story arcs, some stretching across several years. It just happened to be set in space.

(yes I'm the one who put that avatar in the pool )

There have been several periods in my life where I exited mainstream life and totally missed status quo existence... for example there was life in the Ashram, another life in the bush, and life in Africa.

However in the name of all things fair... let's turn the reins of this thread back to Prince Dakkar and his wonderful exploits of 'the deep' and all things Triumphant!

Welcome Nemo!

After many years of only knowing your dad through this website, I had the great pleasure to have met him in person a couple weeks back at the Southwest Triumph Fest here in Prescott.

(...and I gotta say you sound like a chip off the ol' block to me!)

Heh the fact that I bring the average age down says a lot about this economy, and the general disposition of people in my age group.

A lot of us have lost or never acquired the drive to be successful or to buy into the american dream. Seems kind of pointless when we are taxed, legislated to a emasculated harmlessness, and society either holding our hand and saying that everything will be okay if we just wish hard enough or holding us back from living life.

I have a lot of things in my head, ghosts of loves past, regrets of what could have been and confusion of the future. When I ride it is a zen sort of experience my consciousnesses is handling the myriad awareness of the tasks needed to keep me alive and safe on the bike and simply enjoying the tremendous pleasure of simply riding. The subconsciousness is working away at the many things bustling in my head working at solutions and justifying they things I have done and what I will do and what has happened.

The ride is the living thing one which has to be experienced to know. One day I hope to grok it more fully but until that day I am content with the small piece I have experienced.
