These things would probably need to be certified on the same order as an experimental aircraft, maybe even a small plane. I hope they have 'em on the shelf before I die of old age. Canyon carving with no cages about, anyone?

Oh yeah. This will be JUST the thing to ride around on in the future when all those folks in flyin' cars hit the skies too! And THEN, not ONLY will you have to watch out for all those crazy friggin' cagers in front, back, and on the sides of ya, but ALSO comin' at ya from up above above AND down below TOO!!! Yep, I can see it all now... "Sorry Officer, but I DIDN'T SEE HIM DOWN THERE before I hit him!"
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Would be nice if it were funtional in practical way.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Kind of funny since they used to use BMW boxer engines in small helicopters.

Yes, as BMW originally produced airplane engines,,kind of a return to their pre-nazi roots....I know this thing will cost the family jewels but this would be HOT !!!
I hope this guy doesn't go the way of Kenny Drear and hits a winning home run here

To many important specs listed as untested or estimated. Think I'll wait for the ones they had in the star wars movies.
